Our Mission

Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community of eclectic homeschoolers, where all families are valued, respected, and encouraged to actively participate. We are dedicated to meeting each child where they are, providing the tools and support they need to succeed, and fostering strong friendships that enrich their learning journey. Through collaboration, respect, and encouragement, we aim to build a nurturing environment where every family can thrive and grow together.

Enrichment Classes

Enrichment classes are essential because they provide students with opportunities to explore subjects beyond the standard curriculum, fostering a deeper understanding and curiosity for learning. These classes help develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones, building confidence and self-esteem.

Measuring

Student-Centered Learning

Our students are the driving force behind the classes that we offer.  By allowing our children to choose what  they learn we ensure that our kids are happy and thriving. These classes include project-based learning, and group work that gives students the freedom to explore topics they are passionate about. We regularly change classes based on student interests to keep them engaged.

Communication

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

We integrate SEL into our day to help students build empathy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence. Activities and discussions that promote inclusivity, kindness, and conflict resolution can create a safe space for diverse students to feel supported. This focus helps in fostering community and collaboration, which is essential for inclusive environments.

Hands on

Hands-On, Experiential Learning

Engaging our students through field trips, outdoor education, and hands-on projects. Incorporating learning that is not confined to a classroom setting can appeal to kinesthetic learners and those who thrive through practical experiences. This approach can also be tailored to different learning interests and strengths.

ASL

ASL
American Sign Language

Integrating American Sign Language (ASL) into our day naturally and authentically involves incorporating it into everyday interactions and activities in a way that feels seamless and meaningful. Instead of isolating ASL to specific lessons or moments, it becomes part of the routine, whether through casual greetings, classroom instructions, or gestures during group discussions. This approach helps to normalize ASL, making it an integral part of communication rather than something separate or "special."
